As KICK deals with many areas of the performing arts, there are different uniform needs – having the wrong shoes is like playing tennis with a cricket bat – it just doesn’t work. Listed below are the requirements for each class.
To comply with SafeDance requirements – all students who can tie their hair back MUST have their hair tied back. It must be tidy and OFF their faces. (This goes for the boys with long hair as well)
Tiny Tots, Pre-performers and Junior Ballet
GIRLS - Pink ballet leotard, pink ballet stockings, pink ballet shoes, hair in bun, pink ballet skirt (optional).
BOYS – White bonds ringer t-shirt, black KPG shorts or black lyrca bike shorts, white anklets and black canvas ballet shoes.
Intermediate and Senior Ballet
GIRLS - Black leotard, pink ballet stockings, pink ballet shoes, hair in bun.
BOYS – White bonds ringer t-shirt, black KPG shorts or black lyrca bike shorts or black footless tights, white anklets and black canvas ballet shoes.
Juniors & Intermediates.
BUST-A-MOVE - KPG Black shorts, KPG t-shirt, black lace up tap shoes & black jazz sneakers.
FUNK-SOUL-BROTHER - KPG Black shorts, KPG t-shirt and black jazz sneakers.
GIRLS – Long black dance pants OR black bike pants. KPG dance singlet, black anklets, black jazz shoes. Hair MUST be pulled back off face (pony-tail or bun). This is for safedance reasons.
BOYS – Black KPG shorts or black bike pants. KPG t-shirt, black anklets & black jazz shoes.

GUYS & GIRLS - Black bottoms (shorts or pants), KPG coloured t-shirt or dance singlet, black dance sneakers.

You will need a uniform for public performances – so please ensure you have one!
Female members: Black dance pants OR black bike pants. KPG coloured t-shirt, black anklets, black
jazz shoes.
Male members: Black pants. KPG coloured t-shirt, black anklets, black jazz shoes.

If you have any second hand shoes that you wish to sell, please give them to the office in a sealed snap lock bag with your contact details and the price for which you would like to sell them on the shoes.
